I don't eat alot of fresh greens in the fall/winter ... which is probably why I'm overweight! Ha! I actually didn't realize this hadn't been resolved. Don't watch the news much either!
YES!!! We used to eat a ton of fresh baby spinach. We picked some up every time we went to the store - put it in everything or just had it for a salad.
Went to the store today, and it's still not out. Now, granted we are like an hour away from where the problem originated, but with all of the sharp eyes on the growers right now you'd think anything that made it past the inspectors would be uber-clean.
I like it in a quiche at my fave resturant. but they won't make it. On the other hand my hubby and son had E-coli last year and I don't ever want to go through that agian!
I'm a novelist who writes the historical vampire slayer series, The Gardella Vampire Chronicles.
When I'm not working on my next book, I love to read, watch movies, and raise my three kids and husband.
My Website
My novel, The Rest Falls Away, first in the Gardella Vampire Chronicles, described as "Buffy the Vampire Slayer meets Pride & Prejudice"
What others are saying...
"Sophisticated, sexy, surprising! With its vampire lore and Regency graces, this book grabs you and holds you tight to the very last page!" --J. R. Ward, USA Today best-selling author of Lover Awakened
"The Gardella Legacy series represents stylish, sexy, romantic escapism at its best: Buffy in a bonnet takes on the forces of darkness in Regency-era London." --Janet Mullany, award-winning author of Dedication
"A promising, enthusiastic beginning to a new paranormal historical seriesâ¦.Gleason quickly establishes an alluring world all her own. Her Buffyesque leadâ¦is similarly afflicted, but the change of setting makes an intriguing, witty and addictive twist." --Publishers Weekly

More that I can't get a spinach omelet at my favorite restaurant anymore!
I really want to make turkey wraps again with fresh spinach so yes: I'm right there with you, Colleen!
Yes! Hubby and I went to dinner last night and the salad was definitely lacking.
