Who's shopping today?

...and who's recovering from eating too much, cooking too much, drinking too much, napping too much?

Me? I'm having lunch with my two best writing buddies while everyone else is pounding the pavement at the stores.

I'm much too impatient to wait in lines and push through crowds and organize my shopping. I'm more of a haphazard kind of girl.

So, lunch with the ladies. Hopefully, the new James Bond tonight with the Music Man.

Hope all who celebrated Thanksgiving had a great one!

I braved the cold to go to Wal-mart and Target. Now we are going hiking in Gettysburg. I love the holidays!

I'm not shopping again until 2007! Today is a working day (sigh) - must work on wip so I can get more chapters to slave-driving Colleen. :)

No shopping for me (mostly due to lack of funds) but, I am going to the Red Wings game tonight!

Oh, and definitely recovering from the Turkey Extravaganza!

I got my T Shirt yesterday too, Colleen. It's pretty freakin' awesome!

Sounds like a great way to spend the day.

I am definitely recovering. My once per year exercise via the family touch football game has me aching and groaning today.

We are laying around and then, when the daughter is gone tonight, getting some good to-go food (Applebee's or Outback, I want red meat!) and watching Love Actually.

Katkat~~Oooh! Hiking through Gettysburg sounds wonderful! The weather's been so nice here--50s--that we sent the kids to the park to do the same thing yesterday while the Music Man and I were cooking, cooking, cooking.

Jana~~*crack!* (hear that whip?) I need pages, so keep that nose to the grindstone and those fingers to the keyboard!

Cosmic~~Glad you like the tee! I think they're pretty cool myself (I designed them, so I'm prejudiced). And Red Wings? How fun! I'm insanely jealous!

Carl~~So you and the wife have an evening to yourselves with Love Actually? Enjoy the steak (and Alan Rickman) for me, will you? It doesn't look like I'll be seeing Mr. Bond tonight. Maybe tomorrow night.

I sat me down in front of the tv, avec laptop, watched the parade--did edits--then watched the football--did edits--and in between, ate a tasty turkey salad sandwich.

Dinner was chinese stir fry pork. . .

Ah, perfection!

I very rarely leave the house the day after Thanksgiving. I've had a lazy day today ~ did some cleaning, did a little reading (I'm trying very hard to get out of this reading funk I'm in). I do have to go out to dinner tonight and then I think I'm just going to snuggle up with my favorite fuzzy blanket, some hot tea, and some favorite movies.

I couldnt even look at a Turkey today and my back is still sore. If it wasnt Mrs Duck's Birthday and I needed wrapping paper, I would not have left the house, or bed even.

Oh thanks for the link on your blogroll, I have soooo much updating to do on mine

Alexandra, Devonna, Sparky...your days sounded so relaxing!!

My Friday was pretty busy, but today, Saturday, was my lazy day. I've been reading a good book, and a friend of ours from Germany sent a big package which included a Milka chocolate bar, so I shared that with the family and just relaxed.

Now one more day of holiday, then back to the old routine. Sigh.

I made it to Walmart Friday morning to buy my son a Gameboy Micro for his birthday.

I was suprised at the lackluster turnout.

Oooo... I can comment again!

My best friend got me up at 4:30am to drag me out shopping on Friday. We stood in line after line (outside and inside) and elbowed the masses. She did a lot of shopping while I trudged along behind her in zombie mode, my head nodding on auto-pilot, "yes, that's nice and a great deal. Get it."

Beware friends who think Black Friday shopping is a fun experience!

Hope you had a good lunch. Shopping is not my thing, but eating sure is.
