Great list. :) I don't drink coffee either, but you're right - it does smell nice.
Great list!
Mine is up too.
Magnolias.
Vanilla.
My kids shampoo.
My husband's deoderant. (I know, I know, but it smells really good.)
A couple on your list I never would have thought of, but I totally agree!
Love the smell of winter air and summer rain! Coffee is a big one for me too, but I don't drink it either.
Would have added rosemary, cinnamon, and bacon...just something about it.
1. The salt-brine smell of the ocean
2. Wild honeysuckle
3. A campfire
4. Bath & Body Sweet Pea bubble bath
5. BBQ on the grill
6. Fresh pine (i.e. Christmas trees)
7. Mulled Apple Cider
8. Sun Tan Lotion
9. Carnations
10. Freshly laundered towels
11. Old Bay covered steamed crabs
12. Cakes or pies baking in the oven
13. Vinegar soaked boardwalk/stadium fries
obviously I don't know what your husband or kids smell like, and I don't remember what a tulip smells like, but the rest of your list I'm agreeing with!
This list was really nice. I enjoy a lot of the same smells as you, but I have to admit that part of the reason I drink coffee is due to the smell. I'm not sure how you could love the smell but not drink it. ;)
I am also glad to have found your blog thanks to the Thursday Thirteen. I enjoy the genre you write in, and now, I can have something to look forward to reading! Best of luck to you in your career! I wish you nothing but success!
Happy Thursday to you, and feel free to visit my list as well if you get the chance.
I LOVE the smell of garlic cooking! I love eating it too! (No Vamps around me!)
I have been known to eat raw garlic as well, but no one loves the smell of THAT on me afterwards!
Wow! Thanks all for sharing your lists. I think mine needs to be longer. *g*
And Sadie, no, I'm sorry, you can't have the pleasure. LOL.
And Heather...that's part of what I love about my dh's scent too, that with his shampoo. (Is that TMI?) Ack!
Thanks Zeus! I'm glad I found your site too. This TT is really fun.
Zeek...raw garlic. Nothing wrong with that. I chop it up and put it in olive oil with a little bit of salt, pepper, and chopped basil and I drag my Italian bread through it. YU-UUUMMM.
Sept 14, 2006. While following T13 links I have somehow stumbled into Colleen Gleason's cult of husband sniffers. Fortunately I am immune not being a husband or having one...
I only like the smell of Jasmine. Jasmine and those little pine tree car fresheners. Oh and steak grilling.
Thanks for stopping by My T13 Daydream Edition! Georgad Bushpitt says he'll stop by too.
I love the smell of rosemary, the air after it rains, garlic, melted chocolate, and so many others.
I finally finished my, possibly overly ambitious, list -- 13 books I'm looking forward to reading. Now it's time to have fun reading others. :)
Ooh, I love tulips too!And smelling my own husband (and cats too, if the truth be known)
Thanks for visiting me today :)
Great list! I love smelling quite a few of those things as well. Especially freshly baked bread with garlic!
i think that scent is critical. i am an auromatherapy person.. the more smells the better....good ones.
I love gardenias. I have planted them in every corner of the yard so I can get happily overwhelmed with the scent. Great list. Thanks for stopping by my TT. Have a great weekend!
