Well, I'm with you on eight of the thirteen. I haven't seen 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, or 10! It IS strangely embarassing, isn't it? One of my best friends was a film student, oh the shame... :)

I just saw Godfather 1 and 2 recently on television. It was okay but I wasn't impressed.

Saw The Sting as a kid and have always liked it. Its been awhile, I need to get it again.

Love Psycho, you should watch it...tis the season.

Really, really like Jimmy Stewart and Its a Wonderful Life is truly wonderful. That movie and You Can't Take it With You are my favorite J.S. movies.

I'm a big fan of the Godfather movies (1 and 2 mainly ~ 3 kinda stunk) and I love It's a Wonderful Life...but I've only seen 5 of the movies on your list. Some of them I've never even had the slightest desire to see...yikes!

Happy Thursday!

To quote a conversation I once had with my father...

Dad: "Godfather 1 & 2 are two of the greatest movies ever created. They're what everyone strives for"
Me: "what about 3?"
Dad: "We don't speak of 3"
Me: "But why--"
Dad: "We don't speak of it!"

Cosmic Kid, that's kind of how I feel about the new Star Wars...

Colleen, I don't know if we can be friends anymore. You really haven't seen The Sting? Like, really really really? After that whole conversation we had about it the summer we met? (Remember the discussion about shilling?)

2,4,5,6,8,9,10, 12, and 13 are all films you need to see right freaking now. You're talking about some of my favorite movies!!!

You need to watch them especially the Godfather. I'm not into those films but I sure loved it.

It's worth watching.

Mine's up. Care to drop by?

I think I've only seen 2 of those. How have you managed not to see It's A Wonderful Life? Do you go into hiding at Christmas?

Happy TT

I know, I know! It's terribly embarrassing.

As for It's a Wonderful Life, it's one of my husband's favorite movies and he watches it--with the children--every Christmas. I don't know why I've never seen it, really. The opportunity's always been there.

Cosmic, I can just see your dad saying that.

Diana, I totally don't remember the conversation in NY the summer we met. Was I drinking?

I've never seen the entirety of The godfather's nor Jaws ... but no Field of Dreams and It's a wonderful life, Colleen? Whew. You need to catch them at some point! IAWL for pop culture reference, if nothing else!

I've never seen Dr. Z also. Love the bits and pieces but the length... You have to see It's a Wonderful Life though, my all time fave! The message, the photography AND Jimmy Stewart! Puts my in the spirit of the season just to thing about it.

I've seen all but two of those movies, Butch & Sundance and the Sting several times because I really love the Redford/Newman dynamic and I think it's cool that they are close friends in real life.

I've never seen Dr. Z or Annie Hall.

How do you make it every Christmas without seeing It's a Wonderful Life at least once? There are marathons every year on some channel like every day from Thanksgiving till Christmas! .. ok, I'm exaggerating a bit.. but not much!

Well, I could list the same movies except Field of Dreams. That was awesome. Can't watch Jaws or Psycho, though. Scary movies give me nightmares. No, really. They do.

I've only seen four of them... I HATED "One Flew over the Cukoo's Nest". Wasn't thrilled with "Butch Cassidy" - another sucky ending (I'm all about the HEA).

Risky Business was fun, but I don't appreciate it as much as a grown up as I did as a teen!

However... you must (MUST) watch "It's a Wonderful Life".
